INDIGENOUS WISDOM
In this puzzle course, a number of world-famous storytellers and wisdom keepers will highlight relevant themes from their tradition and spirituality. They are willing to share their knowledge and experience around worldly and current themes such as connection with nature, relationships, education, spirituality in a busy life, etc.

In deze puzzelcursus zullen een aantal wereldberoemde vertellers en wisdom keepers relevante thema's uit hun traditie en spiritualiteit belichten. Ze zijn bereid om hun kennis en ervaring te delen rond wereldse en actuele thema's zoals verbinding met de natuur, relaties, onderwijs, spiritualiteit in een druk leven, enz.
PROFESSIONAL STORYTELLING
This year course takes you into the diversity of the world of storytelling. We highlight corporate storytelling, therapeutic storytelling and narrative coaching. You learn how you can use storytelling in your company, how you can coach your team through storytelling and how you can sell your product through creative processes and the active imagination.

In the Heartbeat of the storyteller you learn to walk through the development of an experience based on the 'journey of the hero' by Joseph Campbell.
History has taught that stories have enormous power and strenth. So what are you actually saying? What is it all about? This training is spread over a year.

In de Heartbeat of the storyteller leer je de ontwikkeling van een ervaring doorlopen op basis van de 'reis van de held' van Joseph Campbell.
De geschiedenis heeft geleerd dat verhalen een enorme kracht en kracht hebben. Dus wat zeg je eigenlijk? Waar gaat het allemaal om? Deze training is gespreid over een jaar.
De School of Storytelling is een nieuw opleidingsformaat binnen AgapeBelgium, een trainingscentrum in West-Vlaanderen, dat een rijke geschiedenis heeft op het gebied van lichaams- en ervaringspsychotherapeutisch werk. Naast therapeutisch werk hebben ceremonie en ritueel een belangrijke plaats in ons aanbod.
Het belang van verhalen is nog nooit zo sterk geweest. Verhalen vertellen is het toepassen van verhalen om een doel te bereiken en betrokkenheid te creëren. Verhalen raken ons, zijn concreet, gemakkelijk te delen en betekenis aan te geven. Maar verhalen vertellen is niet alleen het "vertellende" element, maar ook luisteren, vormgeven, leren en verspreiden. Verhalen vertellen is een manier om ervaringen te delen en te interpreteren. Het kan worden gebruikt als een methode om ethiek, waarden en culturele normen en verschillen aan te leren. Het is een basis voor leren en onderwijzen. Bij kinderen wordt storytelling gebruikt als een hulpmiddel om hen het belang van respect te leren door te luisteren. Het wordt ook gebruikt om kinderen te leren om alle levens te respecteren, onderlinge solidariteit te waarderen en altijd te werken om tegenspoed te overwinnen.
De School of Storytelling is ontstaan uit de brouwsels van Sigrid Exelmans, Niek Ghekiere, Stephanie de Bruijckere, Ingrid De Ryck, Bart de Waele, Sara Dykmans en Andy Huysmans die gezamenlijk werden opgeleid als gecertificeerde vertellers en inheemse traditionele vertellers.

The School of Storytelling is a new branch within AgapeBelgium, a training center located in West Flanders, that has a rich history in body and experiential psychotherapeutic work. In addition to therapeutic work, ceremony and ritual have an important place in our offer.
The importance of stories has never been so strong. Storytelling is the application of stories to achieve a goal and to create involvement. Stories touch us, are concrete, are easy to share and give meaning. But storytelling is not only the "telling" element, but also listening, shaping, learning and disseminating. Storytelling is a means to share and interpret experiences. It can be used as a method to teach ethics, values and cultural norms and differences. It is a basis for learning and teaching. In children, storytelling is used as a tool to teach them the importance of respect through listening. It is also used to teach children to respect all lives, to value mutual solidarity and to always work to overcome adversity.
The School of Storytelling originated from the concoctions of Sigrid Exelmans, Niek Ghekiere, Stephanie de Bruijckere, Ingrid De Ryck, Bart de Waele, Sara Dykmans and Andy Huysmans who were jointly trained as certified storytellers and indigenous traditional storytellers.
